Develop curriculum that describes the DEIS role and responsibility in the discipline

UG: Use ABET’s report on ~100 programs across ~25 institutions that participated in ABET’s DEI pilot. G: Short survey with peer and aspirational institutions/leaders in this space to determine best practice

Projected Outcomes from Baseline:

  1. All UG programs will include a DEIS awareness content appropriate to their discipline in the curriculum. Timeline: Fall 2023–Spring 2026

  1. Using ABET DEIS Self-Study Report Pilot Supplements, Identify courses and topics that include DEIS component. Timeline: Fall 2023
  2. Program survey 5 peer/aspirational programs to determine what they do/not do. Timeline: Fall 2023
  3. Develop a curriculum map: Each program identify a course(s), DEIS topics to include in the course. Timeline: Fall 2024
